We saw an opportunity to give new life to lobster byproducts — something often discarded — and combine it with superfoods grown right here in Atlantic Canada. The result? A treat that’s as nutritious as it is meaningful.

Meet Erika – Founder of Purely PEI
Erika is the passionate mind behind Purely PEI. A lifelong animal lover, she blends science, strategy, and heart to create pet products that reflect true quality and care.
Originally from Brazil, Erika holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from UNESP and has dedicated years to understanding animal health and nutrition. She’s currently pursuing a Biology degree at UPEI and an MBA with a focus on the pet market—sharpening her unique perspective on what pets truly need and what pet owners value most.
Erika serves in the Navy—an experience that shapes her discipline, leadership, and sense of mission, all of which she brings to Purely PEI. Her love for animals and her commitment to quality drive everything the brand stands for.
